I hate the art style and from the gameplay footage I've seen, it looks like Team17 is taking Worms in another wrong direction. It's not a perfect game, but it's definitely fun. They don't just bounce around like plastic capsules like they do in W:A. such as the way grenades bounce/roll/etc.

Even certain aspects of the physics / mechanics I now prefer over W:A. I love being able to pick worms classes, and I love dynamic water and physics objects. I'm just saying that it's pretty good in its own way after I got used to it. but truthfully, I have really grown to love Clan Wars in its own way. All they gotta do is just listen to me and others who have good ideas instead of leaving it in the hands of non-hardcore Wormers. If I had the cash, I would pay for a plane ticket, fly out to England, and deliver a presentation to the dev team and tell them what would make a guaranteed hit Worms title. I agree that overall W:A has the best gameplay mechanics and customizability and whatnot.
